My hobby is collecting autographs. I started doing this about 15 years ago, and then got out of it. I just started collecting again. Some of my autographs were obtained in person, some were purchased from reputable dealers and some were obtained through the mail by writing to the celebrity.

Dakota Fanning - War of the Worlds, Twilight movies, The Runaways

Nice success in the mail today. I sent a letter of request, a self addressed stamped envelope and 2 color 8x10 photos to Dakota Fanning on Sept. 13, 2010. I got my two photos back signed and personalized today, Oct. 21, 2010. She's becoming a pretty big star, so it is kind of surprising she is still so good to her fans.
