Mark Linn Baker - Perfect Strangers

I loved the show "Perfect Strangers" when I was growing up, so when I saw "Cousin Larry" was performing on Broadway, I knew I had to try for an autograph. I sent a letter, SASE and 4x6 photo via the Broadway theatre where he was performing on Sept. 17, 2011. On Sept. 28, 2011, I received my photo back signed and personalized.

Neil Flynn - Scrubs, The Middle, etc.

I think this dude is hilarious. He was one of my favorite characters on Scrubs and he is awesome on The Middle too. I sent a letter, SASE, 8x10 and 5x7 to the set of The Middle on Sept. 9, 2011. On Oct. 10, 2011, I got both photos back signed and personalized!

Charlie Sheen success

This success is brought to you courtesy of tiger's blood and adonis DNA. I sent a letter, SASE and 2 4x6 photos to Charlie via the set of a movie he's working on. I sent on Oct. 25, 2011 and received one of my photos back signed and personalized on Nov. 8, 2011. Wasn't expecting this, but very happy!

Nice Contest Win - The Three Musketeers

I entered an online contest on Wednesday to win an autographed mini-poster from "The Three Musketeers." Well, later in the day, I found out I actually won. I received it on Friday. It has eight signatures on it: Orlando Bloom, Milla Jovovich, Gabriella Wilde, Ray Stevenson, Logan Lerman, Paul S. Anderson, Til Schweiger and Luke Evans.

Emily Procter - CSI: Miami

This one has been a long time coming. I sent a letter, SASE, 8x10 and 4x6 to Emily on Nov. 29, 2010. On Oct. 3, 2011, I received my two photos back unsigned, along with an 8x10 of her own signed.

Technical issues

Sorry for the delay in posing all. It is still going to be a while before I can start posting my autographs again. The hard drive went out on my computer, so I'm going to have to get that replaced before I can start posting again. I hope you'll all stay tuned for upcoming posts.

Robin Wright - Forrest Gump, etc.

Sorry for the delay in posting. I've been out of town. I'm pretty late in posting this one. This is Robin Wright (formerly Wright-Penn). I sent to her via the "Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" set on Jan. 27, 2011. On Aug. 15, I got it back signed. Pleased to add her to the collection.

Sarah Wright - The House Bunny

I sent a letter, SASE and 4x6 photo to Ms. Sarah Wright at the set of her new film, "21 and Over" on Aug. 22, 2011. On Sept. 2, 2011, I received my photo back signed, personalized and inscribed. Very nice success from this up-and-coming actress.

Pauley Perrette - NCIS

I sent a letter, SASE and 2 8x10 photos to Pauley Perrette of NCIS fame on Oct. 7, 2010. On Aug. 1, 2011, I received both photos back signed and personalized. Very nice success from this terrific actress.

Annie Potts - Ghostbusters, Designing Women, etc.

I loved Annie Potts' character, Janine, in "Ghostbusters." I wanted to add her autograph to my collection, so I sent a letter, SASE and 2 4x6 photos to her on Dec. 16, 2010. On Aug. 15, 2011, I received both of my photos back signed and personalized, along with an 8x10 of her own! I had only sent a small return envelope with a regular postage stamp since I just sent two small photos. Since she included her 8x10, she sent back to me in a large envelope with her own postage. Very nice of her!

Paul Rudd - Anchorman, Friends, I Love You, Man, many more

This is one of my favorite successes in quite some time. Paul Rudd is one of my favorite actors. I hadn't seen a lot of successes for him, but I had an address for a film he was shooting, so I took a chance and sent him a request. I sent a letter, SASE, 8x10 and 5x7 to the "This is Forty" production office on June 30, 2011. On July 28, 2011, I received both photos back signed and personalized. Very, very happy!

Steven Weber - Wings

This is one of my purchased autographs. Weber is probably best remembered for his starring role on "Wings."

Robin Tunney - The Mentalist, The Craft, Empire Records, etc.

For whatever reason, I love the movie "Empire Records." Robin Tunney plays one of the many main characters in the film. I sent a letter, SASE and 2 8x10s to the production office of "The Mentalist" on Sept. 29, 2010. Sometime around Aug. 1, 2011, I received a different 8x10 back from her inscribed and signed. Pleased to have this one to add to my collection!

Aubrey Plaza - Parks and Recreation, etc.

I think Aubrey Plaza's character, April, is one of the funniest parts of the hilarious show, "Parks and Recreation." I sent a letter, SASE and 2 5x7 photos to Aubrey while she was filming "The To-Do List" on July 6, 2011. On July 23, 2011, I received both of my photos back signed and she wrote notes on the back of both of them. Awesome!

 The funny thing about this success is that I had actually purchased a signed photo of Aubrey and received it in the mail on the same day as these.

Alan Ruck - Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Spin City, Speed, etc.

I purchased this one recently. Ferris Bueller is one of my favorite movies of all time, so I was pleased to add this iconic image of Cameron Frye to the collection.

Clark Gregg - Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor, The Old Adventures of New Christine, etc.

I sent another request to Clark Gregg via the set for "The Avengers" because I wanted a pic of him as Agent Coulson signed. I sent on July 11, 2011 and received my 5x7 back signed on July 23, 2011. Nice to add this one to the collection.

Jennifer Lawrence - X-Men: First Class, Winter's Bone

I sent a letter, SASE and 2 5x7 photos to Ms. Jennifer Lawrence via the "Hunger Games" movie set on June 10, 2011. I got both photos back signed a few weeks later. I think she's a big up and coming star, so I'm thrilled to add her to my collection.

Kevin Bacon - Footloose, X-Men: First Class, etc.

I really enjoyed Kevin Bacon's performance in the latest X-Men movie, so I figured I'd try to get his autograph. I found that he was filming a movie called "Jayne Mansfield's Car" in Georgia, so I sent a letter, SASE and 5x7 to the production office. I sent on June 20, 2011 and received my photo back signed on July 23, 2011. Pleased to add Kevin Bacon to the collection.

Christina Aguilera - singer, actress

I sent a letter, SASE and 2 8x10 photos to Christina Aguilera on Sept. 20, 2010. On July 12, 2011, I received both photos back unsigned, along with a small 4x6 signed photo. Upon further review, I believe the photo is autopenned (signed by a machine that copies her handwriting), so it isn't an actual autograph. That was a long time to wait for a fake graph! Oh well, what can you do?

Robert Maschio - Scrubs

This is a recent purchase for me (sorry for the lack of updates, by the way. I'll try to do better in the future). I am still trying to complete my Scrubs cast collection and this one was still needed. I loved his character of "The Todd" on the show. I still need about 3 more major cast members to complete the set, but I'm most of the way finished now.

R.I.P. Sherwood Schwartz (Gilligan's Island, The Brady Bunch)

On Tuesday, a TV legend died. Many won't know his name, but most will know his work. He was the creator of both "Gilligan's Island" and "The Brady Bunch" - two shows that are still popular after 40 plus years. I wrote to him many years ago (before I was smart enough to keep a database with my data) and received two autographs from him. He was well known throughout the autographing community as a great through the mail autograph signer. Besides the photo below, he also sent me a photo of him with the "Gilligan's Island" cast and a photo of him withe "The Brady Bunch" cast (unfortunately those two aren't scanned). He will be missed!

Sarah Lancaster - Chuck, Everwood, Saved By the Bell: The New Class

I sent a letter, SASE, 8x10 and 4x6 to this great, young actress, using the "Chuck" set address, on Sept. 29, 2010. On July 1, 2011, I received both photos back signed and personalized. Pleased to get this back. This has been my longest wait (with an actual reply - there are several I sent out before this that are still pending) so far since I got back into autograph collecting through the mail.

John Mellencamp - music legend

I've been a fan of John Mellencamp's (or John Cougar Mellencamp - depending on the decade) for as long as I can remember. Who doesn't love "Jack and Diane?" I sent a letter, SASE and 5x7 photo to him on April 29, 2011 and received my photo back signed and personalized on June 27, 2011. Glad to add this legend to the mix.

Paul Schneider - Parks and Recreation

Paul Schneider was a regular cast member on the first two seasons of Parks and Recreation, but is no longer on the show. I saw he was filming a movie called "The Babymakers" and I wanted to add him to my Parks and Rec collection, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I sent a letter, SASE and 8x10 to the production company doing the film on June 7, 2011. On June 27, 2011, I received my photo back signed and personalized with a fantastic note. Really pleased with this one and really happy he appreciated my request and letter.

Rachael Harris - The Hangover, Notes from the Underbelly, etc.

I think Rachael Harris is beyond funny. She has guest-starred in pretty much everything. I sent a letter, SASE and 5x7 to her while she was filming the television pilot, "Family Album." I sent on March 10, 2011 and received my photo back signed on June 6, 2011. Very pleased she responded!

Clark Gregg - Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor, The Old Adventures of New Christine, etc.

I sent a letter, SASE and 5x7 to Mr. Jennifer Grey on May 17, 2011. I used the address for "The Avengers" film which he was working on at the time. I received my photo back signed and personalized on June 12, 2011. Very pleased to add this fine actor to my collection. I love him in the Marvel films as Agent Coulson.

Lauren Potter - Glee

I sent a letter, SASE and 5x7 photo to Lauren Potter, who plays Becky on Glee, on April 29, 2011 and received my photo back signed and personalized on May 20, 2011. Nice success from this terrific actress.

Tom Welling - Smallville

This was a purchase I made recently. I've managed to collect the majority of the main "Smallville" cast either through the mail, or via purchase. Tom Welling, the main character, had eluded me. He is a notoriously bad autograph signer, both through the mail and in person. That, of course, means his graph is hard to come by, even if you are just trying to purchase it. I finally, after months of research, found one being sold by a seller I trusted. I went ahead and pulled the trigger, knowing I'd never get him via the mail. So, I'm proud to add Clark Kent to my collection.

Michael Rosenbaum - Smallville, Breaking In

Smallville has been one of my favorite shows for the past several years. I loved Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor, so I decided to try to get his autograph. I sent a letter, SASE and 2 photos to his agency on Nov. 27, 2010. On May 31, 2011, I received one of my photos back signed and personalized and inscribed as "Lex." Very pleased to add this one to me collection.

Gene Wilder - Blazing Saddles, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

Willy Wonka was one of my favorite movies growing up, so I felt like I should try to add Gene Wilder to my collection. I sent a letter, SASE and an 8x10 to him on March 9, 2011. On May 26, 2011, I received my photo back signed and personalized! Thrilled to add this legend to my collection!

Charlton Heston - Planet of the Apes, Ben-Hur, The Ten Commandments, etc.

This is one I got through the mail in the late 90s, so I don't have the information on how long it took to get back, etc. Of course, that is kind of irrelevant, since he's been dead for several years now. It is pretty much common knowledge throughout the autograph community that many of Heston's through the mail autographs were secretarial. After a lot of research, I do believe the one I received is legitimately his signature, as opposed to one of the secretarial signatures.

Lisa Loeb - musician

I sent a letter, SASE and 2 4x6 photos to Lisa Loeb, singer of "Stay" on April 29, 2011. On May 23, 2011, I received both of my photos back signed and personalized.

Christie Brinkley - model, Vacation, Vegas Vacation

I noticed that Christie Brinkley was going to be starring in "Chicago" on Broadway for a couple of months, so I figured I'd send an autograph request to her. I sent a letter, SASE, and 8x10 and a 5x7 to her on April 7, 2011. On May 12, 2011, I received both photos back signed, inscribed and personalized. I've always loved her, so I was happy to get these back!

Sabrina LeBeauf - The Cosby Show

I sent a letter, SASE and 5x7 photo to Sabrina LeBeauf while she was performing in an off-Broadway play in NYC. I sent the package on Feb. 16, 2011 and received my photo back signed and personalized on May 13, 2011. She played the oldest daughter on The Cosby Show.

Brian Dietzen - NCIS

I sent a letter, SASE and 2 4x6 photos to Brian Dietzen of NCIS fame on Oct. 18, 2010. On May 7, 2011, I received both photos back signed, as well as his own 8x10 signed and personalized. Very nice success!

Doris Roberts - Everybody Loves Raymond

I sent a letter, SASE and 4x6 photo to Doris Roberts, of "Everybody Loves Raymond" fame on Nov. 2, 2010. On May 7, 2011, I received my photo back signed and personalized. She was great on "Raymond" and I'm happy to add her autograph to my collection.
