Frank Oz - Yoda, Miss Piggy, etc.

I sent a letter, SASE, DVD cover and 5x7 to Mr. Oz on Nov. 1, 2010. Today, March 30, 2011, I received my DVD cover back signed and personalized. No sign of the photo, but that's okay. I'm just happy to get my DVD cover back. I thought it would be pretty cool to get the cover of "The Muppets Take Manhattan" signed by Oz because it was his directorial debut and he is, of course, Miss Piggy.

Ethan Hawke - Training Day, Dead Poet's Society

I didn't know if I'd get this one back or not. I wasn't sure how autograph friendly Mr. Hawke is, but it appears he is pretty friendly. I sent a letter, SASE and a 5x7 to him via the set for his new television pilot, "Exit Strategy" on March 16, 2011. Today, march 28, 2011, I received my photo back signed and personalized. He also dated it, which I thought was cool!

Leslie Bibb - Talledega Nights, Iron Man, Crossing Jordan

I sent a letter, SASE, 8x10 and 4x6 to Ms. Leslie Bibb via her new television pilot, "Good Christian Bitches," on March 17, 2011. Today, March 28, 2011, I received both photos back signed and personalized. I'm really happy with this one!

Cindy Williams - Laverne and Shirley

Today turned out to be a nice day at the mailbox. I sent a letter, SASE, 8x10 and 4x6 to Ms. Cindy Williams (Shirley from "Laverne and Shirley") on Nov. 30, 2010. Today, March 28, 2011, I received both photos back signed and personalized. Very pleased to get the star of such a legendary show!

Barry Larkin - Cincinnati Reds shortstop, NL MVP

Barry Larkin was my favorite ballplayer growing up. On Nov. 8, 2010, I sent a letter, SASE and 2 4x6 photos to be signed. Today, March 25, 2011, I received one of my photos back signed. Very pleased!

Olivia Munn - Perfect Couples, Attack of the Show

I sent a letter, SASE and 2 4x6 photos to Olivia Munn on Nov. 20, 2010. On March 24, 2011, I received both photos back signed and personalized.

Jerry Jones - owner of the Dallas Cowboys

I sent Jerry Jones a letter, a SASE and a 4x6 photo I took of the field from the upper deck that I took while doing the stadium tour on Nov. 26, 2010. On March 24, 2011, I received my photo back signed. I thought it was kind of cool that I was able to get my own photograph signed.

Yvonne Strahovski - Chuck

This is another one that I received while I was out of town for a couple of weeks. I sent a letter, SASE and 2 8x10s to Ms. Strahovski on Oct. 9, 2010. On Feb. 28, 2011, I received both photos back signed and personalized. She is quite a beauty!

Joey Lawrence - Gimme A Break, Blossom, etc.

I purchased this one while I was in Texas. I've always been a fan of Joey's work. I really like his current show - "Melissa and Joey," starring him and Melissa Joan Hart.

Mindy Sterling - Austin Powers films

I sent a letter, SASE and a 4x6 photo to Ms. Sterling on Nov. 29, 2010. Yesterday, March 19, 2011, I received my photo back signed, along with an 8x10 of her own that she signed, personalized and inscribed. She also sent in her own return envelope, as the one I included was just big enough to hold my small photo. She also sent along information on donating to a cancer charity she is involved with, which I intend to do.

Wheel of Fortune - Pat Sajak and Vanna White

This was a really quick response. I sent a message through the website www.wheeloffortune.com (used the "feedback" link at the bottom of the page) on March 1, 2011. On March 7, 2011, I received a color 8x10 signed by both stars of the show. Pretty nice success for having just sent an email.

I'm Back

I hope everybody is ready for some updates. I'll begin again tomorrow. I wish I could say I have a big stack of successes to tell you about, but unfortunately, there were only two while I was gone. I got a couple in the mail I purchased as well, though. I did manage to send several requests out while I was out of town, so hopefully the successes will start flowing in again soon!

On Hiatus

Sorry for the lack of updates. I'm currently out of town and I won't be back until March 17th or 18th. Hopefully the wait will be worthwhile though and I'll have a stack of autographs to blog about when I return home. Hope you'll all come and join me back here then!
