Yvette Nicole Brown - Community

As I've said on here before, I think "Community" is my favorite show now. I really enjoy the whole cast. I've had the whole main cast, minus one person, for a while now. Today, that person added herself to the collection. I sent a letter and SASE to Yvette Nicole Brown (Shirley on Community) on Sept. 9, 2010. She was the first person I sent to when I got back into collecting. Today, Feb. 22, 2011, I received a nice signed, personalized and inscribed photo. It is really cool. I'm thrilled!

Jewel Staite - Flash Forward, Firefly, Serenity, etc.

Jewel Staite is really popular in the nerdy sci-fi world. I sent her a letter, SASE, 8x10 and 5x7, as well as US$3 (she lives and her agency is in Canada, so I included that to cover postage) on Dec. 1, 2010. Today, Feb. 22, 2011, I received both photos back signed and personalized.

David Denman - The Office

I purchased this one to add to my collection of autographs from The Office. He played Roy, Pam's fiance, in the earlier seasons.

Josh Sussman - Glee

Sussman is a minor character on Glee. I purchased this and it arrived in the mail today. Another add to the Glee collection.

Ashley Fink - Glee

This is a purchase I got in the mail today. She is now a character on Glee.

Christina Ricci - The Addams Family (movie), Sleepy Hollow, etc.

I sent a request to Christina Ricci while she was doing a Broadway show in New York. I sent a letter, SASE, 8x10 and 4x6 to her on Oct. 9, 2010. Today, Feb. 15, 2011, I received both photos back signed, along with a signed 8.5x11 she sent on her own.

Daniel Craig - James Bond

Big success today. I sent a letter, SASE and 8x10 to Daniel Craig via the "Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" production office on Jan. 27, 2010. Today, Feb. 14, 2011, I received my photo signed and personalized. Nice to get an autograph from Mr. James Bond himself. I imagine "Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" is going to be big for him as well. I thought this photo was really cool too, with the light effects.

John C. McGinley - Scrubs, The Rock, etc.

I'm a big fan of John C. McGinley, best know for his role as Dr. Perry Cox on Scrubs. He was also in The Rock with Nicholas Cage and Sean Connery. I sent a letter, SASE, 8x10 and 5x7 to him via his publicist on Oct. 13, 2010. Today, Feb. 11, 2011, I received both of my photos back signed and personalized. Very pleased. It wasn't a very good week for through the mail successes, so this one was very nice to get!

Amy Poehler - SNL, Parks and Recreation, Blades of Glory, etc.

Amy Poehler is one of those actresses that is hard to get through the mail, so I bought this one. I needed her to go in my Parks and Recreation collection and I really enjoy her acting. It has been a slow week through the mail, so I was glad to see this one come in, even if I did pay for it. Also, she has one of the worst autographs I've seen.

Barbara Mandrell - country singer and actress

When I was a kid I always had to watch Barbara Mandrell on TV. Her show with her two sisters was a favorite of both my mom and my grandma. I have to admit, it was a pretty funny show. I sent an email to Ms. Mandress via her website and asked her about receiving an autograph. I told her how I used to watch the show with mom and grandma. I sent the email on Oct. 19, 2010 and received a nice autographed photo today, Feb. 7, 2011. She personalized it and wrote a really nice inscription. It means a lot since my mom and grandma are both gone now.

Colby Donaldson - Survivor, Top Shot

I thought I posted this on Saturday, but I guess I forgot. I sent a letter, SASE and 4x6 to Colby Donaldson (from the second season of Survivor (Australia)) on Nov. 5, 2010. I received a different 4x6 (from his new show on History Channel) on Feb. 5, 2011. Nice little success.

Melissa Rauch - The Big Bang Theory

One of my favorite, favorite shows right now is The Big Bang Theory. I've already got the main cast, as well as Wil Wheaton, so I was excited to find a reply from Melissa Rauch in the mailbox today. I sent a letter, SASE, 5x7 and 4x6 to her on Nov. 20, 2010. Today, Feb. 4, 2011, I received both photos back signed, 1 personalized. She plays Bernadette (Howard's girlfriend) on the show. She's become a much more important part of the show this season.

Karen Allen - Indiana Jones

Karen Allen played Marion in both Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I sent a letter, SASE, 5x7 and 4x6 on Nov. 26, 2010 and received both photos back signed today, Feb. 3, 2011. Very pleased with this success. The first Indiana Jones movie is one of my all-time favorites.

Laura Linney - Congo, Mothman Phrophecies, The Truman Show, etc.

I sent Ms. Laura Linney a letter, SASE and 4x6 photo while she was performing in "Time Stands Still" on Broadway recently. I sent the package on Dec. 16, 2010 and received my photo back signed and personalized today, Feb. 2, 2011. Very pleased to get this back, as the show has already ended, so I figured I was just out of luck.

John Travolta - Grease, Pulp Fiction, etc.

Nothing new in the mail today, so I'm going to one of the autographs I purchased several years ago. I'm a big fan of Travolta, so I was happy to add him to my collection. I do wish he hadn't signed on the dark part of the photo, but at least it is in blue, so it shows up a little.
