My hobby is collecting autographs. I started doing this about 15 years ago, and then got out of it. I just started collecting again. Some of my autographs were obtained in person, some were purchased from reputable dealers and some were obtained through the mail by writing to the celebrity.

Jimmy Smits - Star Wars prequels, The West Wing, NYPD Blue, L.A. Law, etc.

I sent a letter, SASE, 8x10 and 5x7 to Mr. Jimmy Smits on Nov. 29, 2010 and received a response today, Dec. 13, 2010. I got my 8x10 back signed and personalized, but there was no sign of my 5x7, but that's okay. Nice response from a pretty big star! Another really fast one.
