My hobby is collecting autographs. I started doing this about 15 years ago, and then got out of it. I just started collecting again. Some of my autographs were obtained in person, some were purchased from reputable dealers and some were obtained through the mail by writing to the celebrity.

Amanda Beard - Olympic Champion Swimmer

Another Olympic success today. Multiple swimming champion Amanda Beard. I sent a letter, SASE and 3 5x7 photos to Amanda on Oct. 28, 2010. Today, Jan. 7, 2011, I received two of my photos back signed, along with a signed promo piece of her own. No sign of my third pic, but that was fine. Another great success from an Olympic champion!
